Default need help on this..

i'm having problem with my 98 gsr, no power at all. i check the cell code and it giving me # 8 and 81. which is tdc sensor and miss firing cyc 1. does this mean my timing is off or something else? or a bad sensor? i just had a new distrubutor install, cap and rotor, new spark plug.

the old owner of the car had that problem, what he did was unplug the ecu and plug it back in. the check engine light would turn off for a week or 2 and come back on again.

try adjusting the timing. just jump the service connector. (car has to be at operating temperature) turn your car on get the timing light and adjust your timing. also line up your cams and check if the crank pulley is at top dead center.
