Air Intake !?!
I know what you guys gonna say. "Search", and your gonna say, "yet again another intake posting." because thats all i really foudn when I searched.
This is a quick question, everyone is recommending AEM apparently. But, Im staying stock, and I want to just get something cheap (to be honest). You get what you pay for, but money over performance because I am not even going as far as any exhaust upgrades.
Here is a link to the dirt cheap crap over at ebay:

I mean there like, 40 bucks total, but will they give me ANY difference in power? The real deals only give you like 5-10 horses, polished and chromed. So, anybody think its worth just for shitss?
Thanks!

Well I had an Ebay intake on my DX Hatch
Once I switched to a name brand I felt a difference..leave it at that...
You will still gain over the stock unit no doubt about that

Yea, very good idea. Because that pipe itself is $100.00. So it would take like, $50 bucks off the top just doing it that way. I always thought it would be up to the filter flow.

Actually,I was just thinking. Would it make any sense to just get the k&n stock replacement filter? Or would the pipe'in help drop heat --> cooler air --> more power? Or just go with the pipe and cone filter.
Also, is anybody know how good the bomz air intakes are? same shyt as the other low grades?

It would help a little to have the drop-in. The problem with the stock pipe is the diameter and the inside isn't smooth.
Bomz is the same crap as everything else.

I'd suggest you get one that fits your Intake Manifold - Or is made for your engine.
