K&N sr intake
No information on the search mode. I'm thinking of getting the K&N sr for my 08 Si. I like the fact that it uses a heat shield as well as keeping the cold air intake from the OEM intake.
Any thought on this intake vs others?

Re: K&N sr intake
I installed a CAI in my 06 Civic LX and it was pretty easy. I'm a poor college student so I got a cheap one on ebay, but I don't think having "Iceman" or "K&N" stamped in it is going to give me any more power then my no-name one. As far as using the oem intake, I can't tell by the pic on the k&n website how it utilizes the stock intake system, but I would think that a long smooth pipe with only a few bends in it for a true cold air intake would be better than the convoluted stock setup. Besides, do you want to spend $300 for a K&N or less than half the price for a decent one on ebay? Mine was only $80.
