Default Drivetrain noise after lowering

just lowered a 01 S2000 with the Tien Flex system and it started shaking bad under accelleration. It is the same symptoms as a pick-up with a bad universal joint. but there are not universal joints. just cv joints.
it is not slammed!! with 18's i can still fit two fingers over the tires. raised it 1/2" and it went away. ????? i've seen these cars driving around with tires tucked and the customer is not happy with only a 1" or less drop after spending the money for adjustables.

all shafts seem tight so it has me stumped and i'm wondering if the camber at such a low high pushes the axle in enough to bind it? or if anyone here has experienced this.

thanks in advance.

It the drivetrain making the actual noise or is the car hitting something when it squats under acceleration now that its lower. I haven't heard of this problem either.

mine did this right before the diff blew apart. Never heard of this problem lowerin though. Maybe its there regularly but you can just feel it more lowered.

the only noise is the growling of the driveline components. the car does it during regular acceleration not just under heavy acceleration which would make the rear squat.

there is also a distinct repetitive click when heavily accelerating. this makes me think its the inner joints.

was it a click that you could feel and actually shook the car?? pretty much when i was under heavy acceleration the door panels and dash were shaking.

what diff did you put in after it blew?

does it make any noises while accelerating in a straight line? accelerating while turning left? accelerating while turning right? One fix that honda has issued is replacing and retorquing the axle bolts.

*edit* the fix I talked about was regarding the clicking, but if you're getting moaning and clunking noises, that's most likely the CV joints

straight line was most noticable.

Mine shakes when I'm at high rPM's and I let go of the gas and the car is winding down. It makes a really weird noise.

If your car is shaking that bad check the balance of the wheels or the drive shaft.

If the noise went away when lifting the car a pubic hair then it's probably your alignment.

try rotating the rear wheels with the car up in the air and feel for any notchiness. Also, try moving the wheel around while on the car to feel for any slop. Those two will give you an idea if it's a wheel bearing issue. I think the CV joints are the culprit in your case, I would doubt the diff could be at fault. Checked to make sure all bolts and nuts are tight?
