Default ATTN: WW RS body kit owners

ive had my kit on for a while now but i left my actual metal bumper out and thats why my front end is hanging down a little, so i decided to go ahead and put it on but i cant get the damn thing to go on. someone told me that you have to cut/modify the metal to make the front end work? is this true , and if so what do you cut?

I've got the reinforcements out as well....I've heard they fit w/ no trimming, but I guess that's wrong.

I just posted that I can't get my Buddy Club front on myself. At the body shop they got it on but when they painted the car they gave it back to me with front bumper off cause they thought I was going to get an engine swap right away. Well I took the car home I tried to put it on but I couldn't figure it out. I chipped the paint pretty bad when I dropped it so now I have to get it repainted. I know the body shop can get it on so when they repaint it I will have them put it on I guess. Oh, and yes the metal bumper is attached.

Heres what it looked like when they had it on.

Mine rs bumper fits well with the steel bumper, I have had no problems. The only thing i left out was the styro bumper.

I also have the steel bumper in minus styrofoam, fits with no problems. Its pretty damn unsafe not to have that in!

I had a little problem with it. I had to grind about 2mm off of left side of the metal bumper insert and it is fine now. But you need that metal piece in there or you will not pass safty (In Canada at least), plus it is really dangerous.

I have a 4dr that I had to modifiy with a 2x2 metal piece welded to the core support. I just thougth it did not fit because the sedan was diff which it is in some ways. I also fixed the sagging problem with a few screws in to the bottom of the fenders where the bummper meets the fender. But other that that I had no problem.

I think that you must have a 90-91 bumper reinforcement for it to work.

I had bought an aftermarket bumper support because I didnt have one. Then I got the WW kit. I had to "slightly modify" my bumper support with a sledgehammer to get my kit to fit right in the front.

I have a 90 Si, and all I had to do was remove a little metal lip that covers over the top of the factory bumper. It won't work over the WW because the urethane of the WW is to thick.

i know the way to fix your body kit problem, take it off and throw it in the trash ,body kits are gay,and look ugly on most cars, insted of wasting money on body kits you can build your motor and go fast...

RS kits are not as Ghey as many other flaming idiot kit's I've seen running around, because their clean, But I say spend money on the motor first. Make it fast. If you still feel like modding the car move on to looks.
