I want more compression
u got a couple of options to rais compression. i ranked them top to bottom, top being the best way to do it.
1. Pistons
2. Welding head chamber(squared or clovered)
3. Flat faced valves
4. Thinner head gaskets or removing plys
5. Shaving the head
6. shaving the block.
Shaving the head and block are not the best ways to raise compression in my opinion cuz once u do it u can't go back and u may run into timing belt problems and offset ur cam timing

I knew about the cam timing but timing belt problems??
Do you mean like possible to have a slack fitting belt? I thought this could be over come with more adjustment on the tensioner.....
