A pretty basic question, but I need the answer. Okay I have my stock strut assembly off of the car. I can't get the bolt on op of the strut off. When I try to loosen it, it moves the whole upper assembly, and I can't hold the part thats moving, because its behind the spring.

 

u have to use an allen wrench or and stick it down inside the nut on the top to hold it still.

 

so the strut is out and you have no way to hold it still to get the bolt on top of it out?
