Default Exhaust Manifold question

First off, as always, **** honda venezuela.

I have a D16A9 (VDM equivalente to the DOHC ZC) and my exhaust manifold gasket broke a few days ago around cilinder 4. To say the least the noise is terrible and my turbo lags beyond what is posible .

This would be easy to solve IF any honda dealer in caracas had the gasket. But none, and i mean NONE. I have called almost every single one.

I came to thinking how d series headers are interchangable and wanted to know if the exhaust manifold gaskets were too.

Any and all help is greatly apreciated.

My guess would be yes. I know everyday stuff in the US can cost a lot more in Venezuela (my aunt works over there), but you could by a cheap paper gasket to test fit. then, if it fits, buy an oem one.

I was about to say the same thing. Check a paper one. I'd say it'd fit, but it's better to be safe.

It's the same gasket for the OBD0 ZC's & 88-89 Teg's. I had a DOHC ZC in my 91 hatch and teh Teg gasket was a perfect fit, so it should still be the same for the OBD1 motors as the exhaust ports didn't move, as far as I know anyhow ....
