When I start my car when it's cold it ticks pretty loud but when it gets warm is goes away, any ideas?

 

normal,cold motors are loud upon start up..
otherwise adjust your valves..

 

I got my valves adjusted the other day because thats what I thought was wrong with it but it still ticks, I know it isnt normal because it just started to do it.

 

Weird, mine does the same thing. I listened for 15 minutes trying to find the sound of the click, which I think is coming from inside my head. My valves are way out of adjustment, but I don't think any of them are bent...

 

injectors are noisy also,and can be mistaken for something else..

Is it possible that just 1 of my injectors needs cleaning?

 

yea, u should check ur injectors, if thats not the problem then i think it might be the rod bearings because its not giving enough oil presure and it knocks when cold.

ended up being my cam gear hitting some piece of plastic from the timing belt cover, no idea why it would go away when warm.
