chop saw for collector cutting?
I bought a Milwaukee chop saw a few years ago and tried it for 18g and 16g tubing and it wasn't as clean as I hoped. But with the pipe you are using it may be better. BTW, I want to sell it to make space. If you are interested please email me at the address below.

I used a chop saw for making downpipes and intercooler piping. It requires a decent amount of time with needle files and with a beltsander in order to get all the kerf off the piece of tubing. Also, my cuts weren't 100% accurate if they were something other than a straight 90deg cut.
Back in my welding class we used a horizontal bandsaw to cut tubing and it would get perfect clean cuts everytime (basically no cleanup at all)

I also have a cold cut saw at work and I don't have much luck cutting much except 90 degree cuts on straight tubing. Ours comes down with such force that the blade almost always flexes when it hits something angled. I tried for many hours to no avail. It would have been soooooo nice to use it as I could have cut an entire collector in about 30 seconds!
