Default Air Con. Compressor not cycling...

Hey, so I turned on my A/C and the cooling fan came on but, no cool air. so i wait and then i check under the hood. The ac clutch isnt even kicking in. anyone else had this prob? think its a dead compressor or bad wiring?

Low-pressure switch? If the refrigerant leaked out, it's supposed to keep the compressor from destroying itself.

check your AC Relay... same thing happened to mine... air was blowing but wasnt cool. Relay fried, chaged it out, no problems since then. the relay is also only like a few bucks also.

1. check refrig level
2. check fuses and wires
3. check/replace relay
4. check/replace pressure cycling switch
Good Luck!

it ended up being the condenser fuse. its a pretty tech system, if the condenser stops working, the compressor cuts to avoid coolant loss. pretty sweet. btw, that relay costs 42 bucks.
