Default AEM cam gear question

my friend as some aem cam gears that he is selling for super cheap, thing is he has an ls and i have a b16. will there be any difference inbtween the cam gears for the ls and my b16. thanks.

Asl ong as they are B-series, they will fit your motor.

That is the old ones. I haven't heard of any problems with the new design.

Agreed, I got a set on my B16, I used to have them on my LS back in the day and I have never had any problems.

well the guy is in a bind, he lives right next to me so no shipping involved. i just thought it was a hell of a deal, and if i decide later that i don't want to use them i could probably get rid of them for 50 bucks plus some shipping to someone? hopefully. heh. but i heard you can just use some locktite and torque them down to 15lbs and a couple said they havent had any problems. im usually not one to buy something when he doesn't need it, i just thought it was a pretty nice deal and would just give it a try.
