i have a stock b16 head. stock ls bottom. my question is if i zero the gears and put them on should i be all set ?

why not just leave the stock ones in then?

you expect to gain hp from cam gears alone? from a stock lsvtec?

skunk to mani. nothing special. i got everything dirt cheap. nothin to lose. p28 previously tuned on chrome. before me though.

i understand what they are for and the use. my issue was someone told me that b16 and gsr gears have different amount of teeth and under the aem gear description they sell them for both. also was told i would never get perfect timing with lsv. this is when i said "my question is if i zero the gears and put them on should i be all set?" but this question was failed to be answered. it was a general question

gsr b16 itr all have the same teeth

and yes gears alone will give you hp if tuned on a dyno to watch results
