05 RSX question (new to rsx's)
right now i got a gsr hatch, i will be selling it soon to get an 05 rsx. i did the research but i couldnt find the specific info i wanted. If i get the 05 rsx , im not gonna be able to live with the 15sec and 210hp part. so im either going N/A or boost.
but i rather it be reliable and safe rather than fast.
now my questions.
for N/A: how fast can you get with simple bolt ons? and how much will it cost? (meaning not touching internals)
and for boost: how much boost can you run safely on stock internals? how long will the motor last? and how much will it cost to rebuild a k20 for FI.
would appreciate some answers here. please stay on topic. thanks.

NA the k series motor responds very well to bolt ons
i.e intake, header, exhaust, + hondata somewhere in the 200-220 whp
as far as the 15 second time slips that all depends on how well you can drive the car....
FI i am not a 100% sure on the exact psi you can boost on the stock bottom end but here is a link to a tuned k motor . if you do it the right way with proper engine management you should have no problems .....

Don't be too hasty.
I think the 15 sec is extremely conservative. My '00 ITR was doing 13.8 before its final configuration.
Moreover, judging from the reports we're getting from people who are driving w/the new Z1 motor, you are really going to be surprised at the performance.
My humble advice would be to get to know the car a little better before you make any plans.

for bolton N/A. you can get cai, hondata, race header, exhaust, tires, motor mounts and be looking at either 14 flat or into high 13's. that'll prob run u....2000-3000.
boost, most ppl run less than 10psi on stock internals. you can't put a number on how long it'll last cause that'll vary with how much you beat on it.
rebuild depends on what u do. if you blow it up going lean or too much boost, you could end up just buying a new engine. 5g's.

What do you want out of it? It's a FWD 4-cylinder Honda...210HP is damn good for a stock car considering these specs.
Sure, the motor has potential, but there are cars out there that come with a lot more potential if speed is your main thing.
But your current GSR hatch, in reality, has more potential than the RSX. It's always going to be lighter in weight, period.

My friend has a type-s 2003 and he ran a 14.6 with i/h/e and falken azenis and those are 10 hp less stock. He spent less than $1000. You can make them fast with bolt ons and internals make big power take pacman's k20crx for instance.
