Default IAT intake air temperature sensor, the same on all motors?

like topic says, can u use a d16 IAT on a b16?

I know they're not all the same, because on my b18c1 the IAT is connected directly to the intake manifold and on my old d16y7 it would connect to the air filter box.

I don't know what it's like on the b16 though.

I used my d16z6 sensor on my b18b(both obd1) but my b18a spare engine has a different sensor(obd0)

no.

the odb systems for one may be different, the sensors may look exactly the same but work completely different. trust me on this its a headache i've been through when my car kept throwing ******* codes, when the problem all along was my godamn alternator not distributing enough power.

well i have both obd1 d16 and obd1 b16, still say no? the one in the b16 is fried and i have one from my d16, i need it to work

Just pull it off a friends motor and see. Cause i pretty sure you dnt want to drop 60 bucks on a new one when your buddy has one.

i tried one from a gsr and it went in, but still throwing that code... i thought maybe the wiring was fucked up
