IAT intake air temperature sensor, the same on all motors?
#3
I know they're not all the same, because on my b18c1 the IAT is connected directly to the intake manifold and on my old d16y7 it would connect to the air filter box.
I don't know what it's like on the b16 though.

no.
the odb systems for one may be different, the sensors may look exactly the same but work completely different. trust me on this its a headache i've been through when my car kept throwing ******* codes, when the problem all along was my godamn alternator not distributing enough power.

Just pull it off a friends motor and see. Cause i pretty sure you dnt want to drop 60 bucks on a new one when your buddy has one.
