D16z6 swap Now wont start
I swapped in a d16Z6 this weekend and now I cant get it to start. It cranks but wont actually start. I checked all my grounds, vacumn lines, 2 different dizzys, 2 different ecus. I know im getting fuel because I can smell it. I kept it obd 0 by using the a6 intake mani and a6 dizzy. I have searched and found lots of posts with the same respones telling to check what I have already checked. The only thing I cant redo is my timing because I cant get my crank pully off. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Also make sure the plug wires are going to the right place.

i would really take the time and check the timing at the cam and crankshaft if you have'nt done that yet. it'll at least eliminate it. if you're smelling fuel than it's not getting burned for some reason. so either timing or fuel system problems. if you spray some wd40 into the throttle body and try to start the car, and it starts, than it's a fuel problem.
Are you using a6 spark plug wires?
I tried that and it on my z6 swap in my hatch and it would not start. It would crank and crank I had fuel and some sprak but not enough. Went out and got some z6 plug wires and it fired up like a champ.
Try that.
