h22 trans fluid leak
i just put in a new clutch and pressure plate in my h22 and when i put it all back together and i put about 300 miles on the clutch, but the trans fluid is leaking pretty bad and the clutch is slipping when i try to push it hard... i'm thinking new main seal and that means dropping the trans again... i tried thicker oil but it didnt work... any ideas
Trans is leaking?? Slipping clutch and leaking trans fluid are not two issues that could be related....at least I can't think of anyway they are..
Are you sure that your axles went in all of the way into the trans?? Are you sure that the clutch was beld properly??

now you know to always replace the cheapo seals whenever u replace anything that gives u access to them, when i changed out my clutch turns out the tranny main seal was leaking tranny fluid all over the clutch/fw in addition to my rear main seal leaking...
so what parts do you think i should get... a new trans seal, main seal, axle seals, and maybe have the flywheel resurfaced... the flywheel didnt look like it had any heat spots, but i just want this thing to run perfect.... any other suggestions.. i want to make a parts list so i can order all this stuff... thanks for all your help
