got code 22
No i ment if you had enough oil in the car to run VTEC. Usually when people throw code 22 thats the reason. Check your oil and if its low then add some oil (or better yet just change the oil) and reset the ecu.

If you want, most people just do it for 10-15 second
If you have an alarm though you might want to pull the ecu fuse under the hood so you dont **** with the alarm. That takes alot longer to reset that way.

You might not be burning oil.... unless if you see black smoke all the time then you are burning oil and that might be because of your rings.
Check around and see if you have leaks anywhere or anything like that.

just did that ^^^ and i didnt see any smoke, but there was a very slight smell of something burning, i also noticed that my exhaust tip is like black. doesnt that mean im burning oil?
First car huh?
Black on the exhaust tip could just be exhaust passing through, like carbon or sult or such, nothing out of the ordinary. What motor is it anyway?
What exactly smells like its burning?
Do you do your oil changes yourself or go get it done? If you get it done do you check it when their done?
