Default Anyone running H23 block w/H22 crank & head?

I was curious if anyone was running this setup without any problems. I was considering this setup for a build for turbo so I dont have to find a JDM block.

Are there any issues with this swap? Would I have to buy pistons for H23 but rods & bearings for h22?
Thanks for any input.....

Mike

if you're running an H22 crank why wouldn't you just get an h22a shortblock?

H23 and H22 blocks are EXACTLY the same. The ONLY difference is one reads, "H23" while the other reads, "H22".

With that said, you will not have to do any modifications.

get the h23 block, then just drop in a h22 crank, rods and pistons.
