I just wanted to make sure the parts will fit before they are purchased, anyone with a dohc zc (black top) please help me out.

Timing belt : 88 prelude 2.0
Water pump : 90 crx
Oil filter : 88 Integra
Spark Plug wires : 86-89 Integra
Spark Plugs : 86-89 Integra
Clutch : For whatever tranny you are running

Am i missing anything that would be easily replaceable while the motor is out and should be replaced upon drop in?

 

Your parts list is correct. You may want to throw in a thermostat while everything is out. Get one for a 91 crx.

 

is the thermostat an easy replacement? i've never done one before.

u can aslo use a 89-91 si crx oil filter...

 

all honda Oil filters are the same except for the honda Odessey and the s2000

Actually S2000 and Odyssey filters will fit on your crx. I use s2000 filters on the CRX, Odyssey, and Integra.

 

what about intake and exhaust? does it matter what model it is made for?
