Default Turbo XS RFL Problem

Hey gusy on my 00 Si I have the revhard kit with a fully built motor and hondata s200 w/boost option. I have all possible fuel upgrades, rc750cc injectors,.

to make a long story short, car was running great after getting tuned at 12psi and then my wastegate went bad. I also noticed that the blow off valve wasnt working properly. After removing some washers from the bov now when my car drops down to idle after giving it gas or just putting the clutch in it dies now but then fires right back up if you turn the key. Could the blow off valve cause this problem? Or do I just need the correct amount of washers in there? Wategate is new now and the car started doing this?

any help is great im new to this!

"all possible fuel upgrades" sounds like a ton of trouble. Can you be more specific?

I dunno how your system was tuned, but the off-throttle enrichment could be sky high and by allowing the valve to purge more air by loosening the tension on that spring - you could have belched out the very life force that kept it alive the whole time. Without further detail - that'd be my guess.

by fuel upgrades I simply meant, 255 pump, aem rail, regulator, injectors, thats all, sorry to not be specific...

is it ok to just add the washers and let it be? it was running great before that...

the bov should have nothing to do with your problem. The car would run fine with it stuck open (obviously no boost but fine otherwise) or stuck closed as long as the MAP sensor is after the valve.

If the valve sticks, which txs ones do, just take it apart, clean the plunger and re-assemble with a very light grease.
