Default how to tell a motor has been resleeved

trying to buy one from a guy said its darton sleeved i want to know how to tell if its been resleeved

You should be able to distinguish between the aluminum outer sleeve and the inner iron liner, so the top there should be one circle surrounded by another.

call honda up and ask for original sleev thickness and get urself a ruler and measure the head you wanna buy see how much different....you should ask him about the the sleeved thickness and who make it....sleeved usually thicker than original so hopefully this help

Yeah thats how the stock sleeves will look, yeah and the pics works now so it definitely is stock sleeves w/ blockguard.

Easiest way to tell if it is sleeves, check to see if there is a small line where the sleeves meet eachother between #1 & 2, 2& & 3, 3 & 4. Get a better pic. That pic looks like stock sleeves with our blockguard installed............
