the other night my buddy was out racing around in his 98 gsr. only mods are intake and exhaust. he says he only hit rev limiter once (not a problem). and on the way home his car started running like sh*t. after doing a compression test, we found that 1,2,and 4 were all 240ish psi. cylinder 3 has only 15psi. is this most likely a bent/broken valve or a piston right or what? ive never heard of this happening to a honda. his car has less than 70k miles on it, im stumped. help me out

 

Sounds like he may have floated a valve, and it's not sealing all the way. Pull the head and check it out, it won't take you that long.
