what oil does honda recommend for an H22?

why does everyone everyone keep saying 10w30, the manual calls for 5w30, use it, full synthetic too.

5w30 is what Honda says.

The only time Honda calls for 10w30 is when the car will be in ambient temperatures over 95 degrees.

I just do as written on my stock air box and on the hood. 10w30.

i have an official honda shop manual they use in dealerships and it says 10w-30

i use 5w-30 though

If you willl look at your oil cap it says 5W-30 on it.

manual says 5w-30 or 10w-30.

10w-30 for when temperature is above 0 degrees C. 5w-30 for all seasons/climates.

the manual says many oil types can be used. You have to pick one that suits the climate that your car is going to be driving in.
