IMPORTANT mini me question
ok so i finished my mini me today and i hear a clicking noise and its a bent valve. its missing on cylinder 2. i was wondering if anyone knows if a d15b7 valve is the same as a d16z6 valve? lemme know ASAP cause its going to the machine shop tomorrow
i don't know much about engine repair but did you have to remove the head just to find this problem and is it impossible to just buy a new valve?
I dont think it would be safe to straighten the valve and put it back in, you might have to replace it... Take it to a shop, and get it fixed... OR buy a helms manual, and learn to do it your self....
PS can you put your D15b7 head back on till you fix the Z6 head?

thanks, for the help man i appreciate it. sucks right now money wise, i jus bought this head from a guy i was friends with to later find out it was fucked. the guy moved and now im screwed. so i guess ill jus fix it and no associate with people like that anymore. kinda fucked up, also jus paid a guy who works on hondas 350 to do the full mini me and find this out.

That sucks major asz... but some people are assmuncherz.... If you could put your Stock B7 head back on that would give u time to build your Z6 head...
Buy a nice mild cam like an exospeed or crower stage 2, and some new valves, might as well get the springs and retainers, and then put it back on....
On D-series.org everyone says the exospeed cams pull nice from 3000- up to 8000 rpms.. and the dyno graphs I've seen show the power increse even throughout the powerband....
PS D-series.org has alot of D series motors info... check it out....
