Default EX? LX? Help!

I am purchacing a 92 or 93 honda accord soon. What i am wondering is, whats that difference between the 2? I see that the lx has the 125 hp engine and the ex has the 130(on consumerguide.com). what else difference is there? is there a gas mileage difference? any info would be greatly appreciated.(also, what would you want to get?)

I think the EX is a 5 bolt 15" wheel and the DX/LX is a 4 bolt 14"(?). Overall tire diameter might be bigger on the EX too. Sunroof? A 92-93 Ex should have a 140 hp f22a6. vs. LX 125 hp f22a1. Thats all off the top of my head.

'92 EX

'92 LX

Not sure whether you wanted a 2dr or 4dr, i just chose both, and both are '92, just go to edmunds and check out '93 if you want. Not sure if there are any differences, maybe just qualtiy, more features maybe.

whoa man, that is for a 5th gen not a 4th gen.

The difference between the LX an EX is that the Ex has alloy wheels, 4 wheel disk brakes, sunroof (leather in some cases)

Also the engines between the lx and ex are slightly different as well. The ex has the f22a6 which puts out 140hp and the lx has an f22a1 and it puts out 125hp. I highly suggest you read the basic guide to accords at the top of this page.

I have a 92 ex and its fast for what it is. It'll take an LX all day long obviously and people don't expect the 140hp out of the car.I've beaten quite a few people with it. Mine is an automatic and first goes by way to fast. It pulls pretty good in 2nd, 3rd is the best and 4th is alright, but top end is a little weak not to bad though. This would be a good car if your wanting to build a sleeper and really its good enough stock to beat the average car.
