Can someone explain how to accolpish this and what has to be modified? i know some of you did this. know obviously i know ucant use the actuall 5 lug rotor..errrrr confused!!!
you CAN and must use the 5 lug rotor.
it must have a 4x100 hole pattern drilled into the hat.
you need a hub centric ring to space it centrally onto the hub. (5 lug teg rotors have a larger hub hole compared to 4 lug tegs).
you need to find/buy some accord wagon/prelude vtec/ITR calipers.
Mill off 3mm (or is it 5mm) from the side of the caliper bracket that touches the hub mounting surface.
Fastbrakes can get you a whole kit good to go for less time and money it would take you to do everything unless you are mechanically inclined, have a mill/machine shop handy, and have access to cheap calipers.
if you go 11" rotor, you may want to save up for Wilwood calipers. because the 5 lug calipers are fuggin HEAVY ! trust me!

I read somewhere on the net that the front rotors for a 90ish VW Corrado G60 is the same diameter as the ITR/Prelude SR-V but with the 4x100 bolt pattern. I'm not sure if the hub size, and ofset would be correct.
If so, the hole swap would be much cleaner and easier to do. Time to drop by the local autoparts store and start comparing the two.
