AO32R on Rota C8, with Fastbrakes 11" ITR upgrade, I AM in loooove
yes I am in love indeed. what a setup, holy ****! I have been cruising this on the street since I just recently got my ECU back from vtec4gs. what a smooth ride, hugs corners like never before since the advans have been put on. holy crap I forgot how sticky they were since its been in parked for 2 months
man I love 15" rims and advan slicks, completely insane street performance, not too harsh a ride either since they are 205/50r15. pretty interesting that a not-so-super-low-profile tire actually adds a bit of cushion for bumps on the street yet has a stiff sidewall for cornering. cool eh? yah. oh well. now only if I had Wilwood calipers, drats!
ALL OF YOU NON-ITR OWNERS SHOULD ROCK AN ITR BRAKE UPGRADE! long live fastbrakes!

I have the same tires and they are really good. I get scared in the rain though, and the tires are very loud. But the performance outweighs the drawbacks. They are
Are those the Wilwood Calipers they were going to use? If so... how come not the real pretty ones that were black with white lettering? <confused>
Hmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmm.
got to drive it w/ that setup....it's

hey owen,
any comparison between the fastbrakes set-up and say brembo blanks, upgraded pads, lines, fluid?

BUT, that was not even as nice as the surprise when I got my fastbrakes 11" setup bolted on and went for a cruise... with the 11" setup, it feels like you get more braking per unit of foot stomping on the pedal.... and the car seems to decelerate much faster with the ITR brakes. Also the brakes dont get mushy after hard romps around town/track. I cannot wait to track the car or do another driving school, I will be able to outbrake a lot of other 'stock' equipped cars there.. should be fun!
The ITR setup makes the car feel lighter when you brake, like you have less weight to stop. Imagine taking your car for a hard cruise around town with two or three milkcrates of bricks strapped to the seats or floor. this represents oem GSR braking.
Now, remove all the milkcrates and bricks... that is ITR braking.
-->thats just a comparo of brake feel/stopping power/fade resistance<----
On that question about the Wilwoods.... in the pic you can see my calipers, they are '01 Prelude VTEC calipers. I didnt have to shave them to make them fit, because of the 2 piece rotor Fastbrakes offers. Now I wish I had chosen the one piece rotor but went with WILWOOD calipers... DOH!
-->Fastbrakes has a front upgrade kit with OEM ITR rotors, hub rings, caliper brackets, brakelines and Wilwood calipers for pretty cheap to honda-tech members
I recommend that Wilwood caliper kit over my choice of 2 piece rotors with plain jane OEM ITR/Prelude VTEC/Accord Wagon calipers (which weigh a lot).
Milkcrates...funny. thanks.
I had stock pads and all for awhile, then got Porterfield R4S, brembo blanks, motul 600, and goodrich lines...holy sh*t what a difference!
but...if i can get that same feeling all over again...i might have to give brian a ring...hmmm

I'm confused!!
You say ITR brakes, but I see 4 lug.
Can you explain pretty please???
Thanks, Pat.

BTW owen what did that set u back?
yah ITR rotor sized setup for me. actually a 2 piece rotor, aluminum hat on the hub that bolts to the rotor.... sweet.
how did I go ITR brakes with a 4 lug you ask??? the 5 lug ITR oem rotors can be redrilled to a 4x100 pattern, adn using Fastbrakes hub rings they can fit tight as stock on your teg hubs. My 2 piece rotors had a aluminum hat already drilled 4x100, no 5 lugs holes and no rotor-retaining-screw holes either (theyre just for keeping the rotors on during production at honda plants)
This setup was not bad.... moneywise.
2 piece rotors with all needed hardware to mount on 4x100 tegs came to around $400.
front Prelude VTEC calipers were $150 used.
so, $550 total, not bad eh?
Now take into account that the Fastbrakes ITR 11" Wilwood setup with *one piece* rotors is, what?... around $600 shipped .. SICK!
