Default 70mm tb for a b16a2 too big or just fine???

i got a good deal on a 70mm throttle body and i was wondering if it would be a good idea for my b16a2 or if it wiould be too big thanks for the help....

def too big, the most i would recomend on a b16 is 64mm-65mm and thats if your making well over 180whp.

I agree ..its just overkill if you use one that size....unless your motor is turbo or an n/a motor puttin down serious numbers then just don't mess with it......sell it and get one that better fits your motor and mods....good luck..

between 62-65mm would be ok...

yes too big....are you going at 300whp right now?

with 70mm TB on b16 a2 with some bolt on i think you will lose power...too big =air's velocity as it approach to TB's inlet will decrease due to volumetric excessive by TB' diameter

type R has 62mm stock...and that is exceptable for 190hp on R's engine...bored out R's TB to 64, 65, 66 is ok...but you talking about b16a2 with 160 +some bolt on with 70mm...you must be crazy..
