NEED HELP FAST, PROBLEM INSTALLING JDM TYPR R GUAGE
Hi all,
I had a 2001 Acura Integra GSR. recenty i wanted to change my gauge to a JDM integra type-r cluster. I got one from a used car parts store. when plug it into my car, it fit perfectly. but the problem is that the temperature, fuel guage , and the tachometer runs strangly. the temperature goes all the way up to HOT, the fuel guage doesn't move, and the tachometer comes down to zero every time i try signal. does anyone know why and how to fix it?

damn... another one.... always seem to be noobs asking type r Gauge cluster questions.
Yeah... all you need to do is change out the Green Ribbon film on the back of the clusters. they are funky cause you got the wrong years. 94-97 and 98-01
You can change the green film and your gauges will all work right, but some of the pictures on the bezel, like the seatbelt, door open will act funky.
In this case you need to do more work. you need to swap the gauges to your stock Cluster housing and transfer the Icons from the Faux Type R bezel with the stock one.
If this is your first time, it takes a few tries to get everything perfect, just be careful not to break any clips when disassembling the stuff.

And unscrew the screws
And unscrew the screws
Look for ANY screws and remove them. DO NOT bend or rip the green plastic. If you do, you're screwed. In that case, you have to move all gauges over to your old cluster housing one by one. It's a quick process if you've done it before, but in your case, it'll be 2 hours.
