Default VtEC not PULLIN NO MORE

hey i need some help here guys.. i own a 94 gsr with 160000 miles on it, and i have intake header exhaust, cam gears (timing set in Advance) msd, and pulley kit. my VTEC stopped pullin hard like it use to .. it still pulls a lil bit but it use to pull much stronger.. i have heard i need to:

1. clean vtec solenoid
2. replace solenoid
3. readjust the valves
4. valves wearing down and need to be replaced.
5. all or some of the above...
- i dun noe much about the motor of cars, im a body man, (i shaved the mouldings, and emblems, n looks better, added lip kit(wing west side skirts and back lip, with JDM mugen lip, and 25% tint all around)
but anyways..... some help about the vtec not pullin anymore would be very appreciated, doesn't seem to open as loud either....

A tune up would consist of changing the plugs, cap, rotor, wires, flush the radiator, change the timing belt, water pump, o2 sensor, fuel filter blah blah blah. If you haven't done any of that in the 150000 miles you've owned the car then its probably about time. I'm guessing(or hoping) you meant 15000 miles.

Try doing a valve adjustment. The VTEC solenoid will not affect the performance, it merely just controls the activation of VTEC.

After awhile of driving my ITR swapped hatch i thought it was the slowest car ever, my body and mind got used to the vtec transition and pull. it could either be mental, or you could need some minor maitence, dont forget, you are driving a high mileage motor that was prolly romped on for most of its life, motors do get tired.

I agree - there's nothing surprising about an LS beating up on an ITR - overrated -

ITR = Over Rated. . . Flame me as well
