Water pump, timing belt, oil pump, oil lines, distributor, head gasket, etc etc.

http://www.g2ic.com/tegtips/engine/15.html

check out the engine swap guide on g2ic.com, it should answer some of your questions. If you are going to do lsvtec, then search here for 'lsvtec'. You should be able to find as much info as necessary from those 2 sources.

haha.

I bet your motor doesn't last more than 5,000 miles before you spin a rod bearing at the very least. Any takers?

Elaborate on your "built block", if you will. 16,000 miles of 9 or 10,000 RPM shifts isn't something many LS blocks can handle, built or not.

It's just a matter of time until something lets go.

No offense, but it doesn't sound like you've researched this much, and a person with limited knowledge attempting to build an ls/vtec is a recipe for disaster.

Good luck.

Unless you have changed your crank, rods, pistons, etc your going to drop a rod or something. 10K takes some work even on a b18c motor.
