...for $400 and he claims he did a vtec swap and didnt know what swap it was. I would like to know what engine came stock and what engines can be dropped in without modding engine mounts.
From looks the head doesnt say vtec and its SOHC...ant idea what engine is in there or where the stamp is so I can ID it.
Any help is appreciated

Also check for a VTEC solenoid.

 

The STD and DX came with a 1.5 liter engine; Si with a 1.6.

 

where is the VTEC solenoid located
