max psi on stock itr for turbo
that is true. Due to the high compression of a stock B18C5, you will make pretty decent numbers on minimal boost.
I've talked to guys running up to 10lbs of boost but I don't know how reliable that will be after a while. Personally, I think 8lbs is max boost on stock ITR bottom ends.
There was a guy on here that just recently posted about wrecking his boosted ITR engine. I think he drove quite a while with it boosted. You should search back a couple pages and find it. It might prove valuable information.

Its not how much boost the motor can handle.. but the amount of horse power the motor can handle.
I think my car is going to blow up anyday now

It is in the tunner, find a good tuner and he will be able to allow your motor to handel it. If you use cheap tunning methods, or try tunning it yourself without really knowing what your doing then yeah, 6-8 psi max, for those who want to do more then just slap a turbo on, then you can turn it up a little bit more

I have 90k on my stock motor. I run .9bar daily and 1.1 bar at the track with only inline pro head gasket and block gaurd. I still even run a FMU and afc with 450cc injectors. if you tune it right it will last....I would say I am around the 300whp mark....the car has been run like this for over 2 years
