Default Quarter mile time inside... Chris gets owned by drag racing

Well, first time drag racing in a few years... and I only got 3 runs. The last was the best. Good MPH, crappy 60', and 1/4 mile times weren't great either.

Mad wheelhop, wasn't too bad on the last one though. I let some air out of my tires. Still no traction in 1st/2nd.

Another few runs to practice and MAYBE I would have had a 12.9 in me

MPH was really good. 13.3 not bad also. What tires are you running on?

Mods in link in sig. Greddy turbo, Hondata, 295 WHP. ( full interior, spare tire, 200 lbm driver)

Toyo Proxes RA1, 205/50 on stock wheels. I wasn't planning on going drag racing, I just sorta ended up there after a mildly annoying day at work.

I'm headed to Road America this weekend, and I decided to throw the new tires when I changed brakes on Monday..

Yeah, that's what I was hoping for. Maybe I'll go back sometime with regular street tires.

Every car I raced (Mustang beat me, Stock Civic Si, Impala) had me solid for the first 2 gears. My R/T was slower, but I didn't pass the Si until 3rd (and then I flew by him ).. The car on my timesheet was an Impala. Nice 60' time, and yeah he redlighted.

p.s. you made my sig.

what kind of camber are you running in the front? Ive found that increasing negative camber slightly can help a lot with wheel hop. made a huge difference with my car. just dont put so much that you are lessening the tire contact patch.

Camber is stock, so a little negative.
