Default b16 as of 9-22

Ok so Far I have cleaned the head and block (thanks everyone for the tips). I have installed the new Bullfrog Cams, Venom Cam Gears, and my new Valve Cover. As far as the block goes I am still stuck on the piston thing. Should I stay stock or change them for higher compersion ratios? I am not going with a turbo so I am going n/a. I need to know what compersion ratio I should shoot for and what type of pistons should I use.

P.S. I don't want to have to sleeve my block I am staying with standard size.

Just get a b18 now. It's a little more upfront, but cheaper in the long run.
No replacement for displacement.

A stock B16 running on 3 should beat a sunfire

Anyways, look into some CTR pistons. Should be relatively economical and put your compression in the 11:1 range. Or some USDM Type R if you want new ones, but I think the compression will be lower. Try a search

Another factor to consider when determining what compression to go with is what kind (octane rating) of fuel you have easy access to and/or are willing to pay for.
