B16 boosted stroker help
I want to make a b16 boosted stroker build im going with a dart block and brian crower stroker kit and valve train and a precision turbo I would like to make around 750-800 bhp. I just wanted to know what I would need to do to make that power and if the set up i want to use will work or will i have to go a different route ive had a ls that had stroker kit running all motor and only made like 230 bhp. But what would be the best things to do for the build. Thanks in advance
Like he said. Plus, dart never made a b16 block. Go with the tried and true 84x89 sleeved gsr or B18. Strokers are a thing of the past unless your going all motor.

I agree. No need to stroke.
If you're going to spend the money on stroking it to make it a 1.8L and sleeve the block, save the money and just sleeve a 1.8L block and spend the stroker money on something better. You'll still spend the money on rods and pistons, but you can use the stock crank, which will save you like 700-800 dollars. Use that money on other important things like drivetrain, better rods and pistons than what comes in the stroker kit or quality turbo parts. Seriously though, you can save almost a grand by not stroking. When you're doing the build you'll find that extra cash freed up will come in handy and give you more options. All the little stuff add up fast.
Or if you're dead set on using a B16 block, if you're going to sleeve it regardless, than you can go out to 84mm bore, still have your 1.8L and have an amazing rod to stroke ratio. Less worries about rpm limits.
