Default Crank No Start B Series Turbo Install

Hey everyone, long time listener, first time caller.

Im having trouble with getting my car started after doing a full turbo kit. Car is a 2000 civic si with a stock b16a2. The car cranks, pops, and shakes like it wants to start but absolutely will not. Basemap is one purchased from HA Motorsports.

Build list is as follows:
Stock B16
P28 W/ Hondata
.63 AR Turbo
Walbro 255
Id1050xds injectors
SpeedFactory 4 Bar Map

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

Spark- new rotor, plugs, wires - have spark on all four cylinders

Fuel- Pump primes, plugs are wet after cranking, so the injectors must be firing

Compression- haven’t done a full compression test but cylinders were healthy before turbo

Basemap- Tried the HA one I bought, plus a few from the vault, still nothing

Timing- didn’t change cam gear timing at all, but tried rotating dizzy to pretty much every position possible

I know this is a vague topic and could probably be a million things, but if anyone has some insight as to what I haven’t tried yet, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried re-installing the OE fuel injectors and a stock calibration from the vault to see if the engine cranks and runs ? Don't forget to change the MAP sensor type before you try to crank.

I haven’t yet, but it seems that’s next on the list.

I’ve read a couple of times that people are having trouble starting with aftermarket map sensors, but my parameters for it are set so I’m not sure if that would be my issue. Unless it was just a faulty sensor lmao

Since you have spark and fuel, focus on timing by making sure the engine is at true TDC and the distributor is not off a tooth or 180° out, and double check the plug wire order 1-3-4-2, also confirm the basemap is correct for the 4 bar MAP and 1050cc injectors since it could be too rich to start, and check MAP sensor wiring and grounds.

The answer is more than likely somewhere in the calibration. Injector dead times, voltage offset, phase angle etc

Based on the research I did, everything to my incredibly untrained eye seemed alright. I had another map made so we’ll see if it’s any different

Roger that, I’ll check timing at the crank and see if anything is amiss. I didn’t pull the dizzy off fully so I’m not sure it would be a full 180 out, but I’ll go back through it.

All of the parameters for the map sensor were put in. I’m going to try my stock sensor and see if there’s any change.

thank you!
