The spirit of lemons is more on racing oddball cars and custom built crap
when i was running uberdata it was definitely in the spirit of lemons in that it was "custom built crap" that i hacked together. but i see the point. if you're dropping $1500 on an AEM EMS (or whatever the modern equivalent) it's not chump car change

Nowadays doe there are a lot of really good EMS you could pick up used for not much coin. I have a B series PowerFC that is great but of no use to me now. I'd sell it p cheap if I could find someone who wanted it. I can't imagine they givge you **** for buying used stuff cheaper than it went for new. Same with my b series AC turbo manifold. Not a racecar need ac but just saying
Part of the reason I gave up road riding (well that and I'm just all around lazy these days). Too dangerous with all the distractions drivers deal with these days.
I like my FXT a lot better. The CX5 handles really well and feels more like a car. While that's nice, that's not why you buy an SUV. It feels dog slow compared to my FXT, and feels much more cramped than the Forester. Also I think the infotainment in the Subaru is far simpler and easier to use.
Hmmmm.. Maybe I step up to the CX-9. But then again, we don't really need all that space. I'll see if Mrs. Hungry likes the FXT. I was going to get her the new Civic sedan, which she likes a lot, but she said she rather a SUV. The search continues.

I mean, if Mrs. Hungry digs the CX5, boombizzle. Everyone looks for different things. I've been driving a Fit for the majority of the last six years without lighting it on fire but Booley would rather ride a power wheelchair for that same period of time.

She's open to anything really, but after owning a 09 Civic hybrid for the past 4 years she doesn't want slow and wants more space. She prefers the looks of the CX-5 to the Suby though. She does like the RDX, but I had one as a loaner and it had terrible MPG's....like awful MPG's. Was a nice ride, but WAY to costly if you want the nice stuff.
Haas with new livery for remainder of the year. I like getting rid of the red. Yeah moar grey isn't flashy but that red always looked like a half ***, add on.

Jenson didn't do any testing in Bahrain, he doesn't take it so seriously - 'I want to stay in America and do my triathlon, I'm not bothered about the Bahrain test' - which for me was a surprise.
The first session in Monaco will be wakey-wakey. I don't think he's very interested.
Jenson is getting paid no matter what he does. Why should he waste time spending days driving an underpowahd **** box in Bahrain. I don't think testing is going to help him recognize blue flags any better than not testing.
My favorite thought-piece about Ferris Bueller is the "Fight Club" theory, in which Ferris Bueller, the person, is just a figment of Cameron's imagination, like Tyler Durden, and Sloane is the girl Cameron secretly loves.
One day while he's lying sick in bed, Cameron lets "Ferris" steal his father's car and take the day off, and as Cameron wanders around the city, all of his interactions with Ferris and Sloane, and all the impossible hijinks, are all just played out in his head. This is part of the reason why the "three" characters can see so much of Chicago in less than one day -- Cameron is alone, just imagining it all.
It isn't until he destroys the front of the car in a fugue state does he finally get a grip and decide to confront his father, after which he imagines a final, impossible escape for Ferris and a storybook happy ending for Sloane ("He's gonna marry me!"), the girl that Cameron knows he can never have.
