The Moroso bung finally lined up for somebody! God I wish i could get a drop like that....Topmount ftw.

The way that bung is located, the Top Mount style manifold is the only ones that will work with the Moroso pre-fabbed oil return bungs..

yea I know that's what you mean but for some reason Lowe's/home depot doesn't sell one with 90 deg bend. So i pieced the union, the 90 bend and barb fitting. A little bigger than it shoulda been. But it works lol.
I spent about $50 and was able to do my entire vacuum line system with push lock fittings.
Now that's the way to do it. I got all my push lock fittings from a local bumper to bumper parts house. They also keep an assortment of npt bung fittings as well.

You used this style push lock? I still plan on setting it up with everything I have for now. Mostly because I'm nickel and diming for the build now...I noticed that one of my from skunk2 pro 2 coils are blown in the front...leaking everywhere. So that's another $195 + shipping to replace that 1 coilover, can't find a used set for a decent price.

Yep. Same style except all brass. Napa has them in stock too
They make repairs and maintenance so much easier then trying to twist and rip off rubber hose from barbed fittings. Although you'll want to watch out near the hot parts like the exhaust manifold.

i was just about to post this. If you do the push to connect style fittings on the wastegate, dont get the all metal body fittings. The heat will transfer and melt the line to the fitting. Had that happen to me last year. Afterwards, switched to metal to plastic elbows.
definitely worth the 30-40 bucks. I iniatially went thru fastenal. Then started ordering thru parker. Fittings and tubing.
After looking at how close everything is, I'm definitely gonna do the push lock fittings. You guys recommend a certain type of vacuum line? Or regular 1/4 vacuum line from the parts store will work? I'm using a 4 port mac solenoid and planning to route the 3 lines from the wastegate and turbo under the radiator support (closest to the intercooler).
Today I wrestled the engine off the stand and bolted down the old flywheel with a new ACT 6 puck clutch and the Old ACT pressure plate. I lightly sanded the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces with 400 grit sandpaper to remove any debris etc. Whoever put the engine together before ditched the flywheel cover under the motor/tranny. I eventually continued to wrestle the tranny on. Basically done on the engine/tranny, except for the turbo oil inlet line and oil temp Guage sensor.
Also I decided to make my life a little easier and only swap the in tank fuel pump with a Walbro 450 (e85 version) as opposed to the intank 255 and Bosch 044 inline. I've read enough to convince me this pump alone is overkill for my setup.
McMasterCarr has a nice selection of fittings and hose to choose from. Just match the OD to the fitting size. Most of what you'll be getting is either 1/8" NPT or 1/4"NPT for the threaded part. I used 1/4" OD size hose for everything
McMasterCarr is an awesome site. Never heard of them. Ordered straight and elbow fittings, as well as high temp up to 390 deg hose all for $50. I dont think any of the hoses will be close to the manifold since its a top mount, but ill keep that in mind when I mock it all up. I really appreciate all the help with this. Me, hoses, and fittings dont mix.

Very Nice! This Pic also just reminded me to pick up a Turbo blanket, filter, and those clips to route the air/oil lines neatly. Ill be placing an order with you guys tonight. I want to mock up an old air filter to see that it'll fit properly.

We buy those cushioned clips by the box at Harbor Freight locally (if you have one, check them out, they cost less in bulk vs going to a parts store and getting 2 packs or whatever). Ti blankets are on the shelf here along w/ compact 4" inlet K&N's. On this car, I elbowed off the compressor 45 deg. to place the filter over the solenoid/in front of the motor mount

Thanks for the input. Im placing an order for the filter and blanket now. hopefully it'll fit with little to no modifications.
Yesterday I spent most of the night fighting the walbro 450 lol. But it made out to be a clean install. Then moved my way into upgrading the wiring. Used a relay kit from Xenocron that I picked up locally. Didnt finish because I didnt have 10g wire to run from the battery and I dont have a bettery for the car yet lol. Ill button that up today. Hopefully tomorrow night I can make an attempt at dropping the motor in.

They are mainly geared towards industrial supply. I make about 2 to 3 POs to them a week for all sorts of stuff. They are pricey, but they site is easy to use and they have 3D CAD models for most things so its easy to design stuff with.
IDK about the zip tie in the gas tank. May corrode? I used a metal hose clamp

honestly It didn't even cross my mind when I was putting the zip tie on it. The honest truth is I wasn't even gonna tie it. The pump is on there too well. That hose they provide gave me hell to install. I'd pay anyone that can slip it off without cutting it. But I'm gonna see If I can pick up a ss hose clamp or ss zip tie. Might as well change it now while I'm still back there.
