And an easier platform to start with, to boot. Now you're using your noodle.

A fun example at 45mph roll. (Although I'd never use a PTE unit as the platform, you get the idea. )

come over to the turbo S2K world...where plenty make great power and most are show cars.
Hate to see it go as this is one of the best threads on HT IMO, but hey, I understand as well. The car is solid!

As for Backroad's ad, even HaSport is giving props to you. That's a Keeper car, once you have Gillespie's blessing.

Interesting indeed. It seems rare anyone in your organization posts at all.

I've given a lot of to the S2000. But a good S2000 is still a bit too pricey for me to start modding.

Also I've had the idea of wanting to try an AWD automatic for a few years now. Since the next project will be made to launch out of the hole, the auto DSM will be a great starting platform while still continuing to be be different than all the mustangs, and LS powered cars around here.

Hey, just here to give good options and alternatives you hadn't maybe thought of yet, so a good guy can stay amongst the few who do this properly the 1st time out, and not become another lost soul to the Mitsu Camp, just because they worry about "keeping up with the Joneses". Either way, we truly do wish you the best of luck.

oh I know I kinda hate to leave but I'm not gone forever. I'm certain I'll have another Honda project somewhere in my future. I've been VERY impressed with them and won't be able to stay away forever. And hey there are PLENTY of lost souls in the Honda world too lol that's why you like me. It's just one of those sad things that happens to all the budget platforms. The difference between the lost and us is that we know no matter where you start... takes quality time, work and $$ to make it go fast and keep it alive

Yep. It's nice when we have threads and builds going on from people who actually understand there's a lot of work, thought, and frankly money that's needed to do these projects right.

Leave a response to this thread with whatever DSM you end up buying, and a link to your new build thread if you make one
