I don't think I have posted here in 10 years. Anyways I have a real shitty integra we use for rallycross and we beat the day lights out of this car. Tons of fun but it's a beater and always trying to do this on the cheap.
The track we run 2-3 times a month. Get about 50 miles in each time. Great place. But I ramble.
Depending on how we setup the track we seem to have one or two turns where using the handbrake comes into play. As of now I just tape down the button and use it like that. Is there a better option anyone has done? This works for now but it's not very ergonomic.
Thanks I will have to go that route for now. I saw a video where they used a dual caliper bracket that looked like the way to go. Unfortunately I can't find something like that for hondas. So drift button seems like the way to go.
Running another caliper setup isn't exactly "cheap".
You need a hydro handbrake/master which the cheap ones are ~$150, handful of braided or hard line, bracket ($?), and another pair of calipers which is basically how drift cars are setup. Most of the rally cars I know of use a pass-through setup since they only run one caliper on the rear. Brake pedal runs all 4, handbrake runs just the rear.
