Default Track days

Does anyone here attend track days? I'll be attending Streets of Willow on Fri Sep 29 and Mon Oct 2. It's dirt cheap right now. Is anyone else here going?

No, the price is only $125 for either day right now and it goes up to $135 next week. Both days together only costs $235 right now, plus the $10 gate fee the track charges. That is cheap!! Here's the link of the info:

I do, but not in your area. Pricing is pretty similar here. I'd like to make it out to some CA courses someday though

The CA tracks are pretty awesome. I've run Laguna Seca twice and that place is simply incredible.

I've done Sears Point once and that was a tough track. I want to go back because I am a much better driver now than I was when I first drove it.

I drove Spring Mountain Park in Pahrump, NV (60 miles west of Vegas) last Sept and that was a really fun track.

I drove Streets of Willow back in June and that was a fun little track. And I just drove Buttonwillow last weekend. I really liked that track. Lots of high speed corners.

At TWS it's $150 per day or $250 for the weekend for an HPDE. Instructor in car if you want. Four different run groups for different skill levels.

I miss track days. I had just started doing them when we moved out of CA. SOW is fun and I have done Buttonwillow as well. I prefered SOW counter clockwise. I would have loved to do Laguna Seca and Infinion, but never got the chance.

There are going to be 3 or 4 run groups in 20-30 minute sessions and novices are provided an instructor at no cost.

There's also going to be a discount at a local motel, but the details aren't known yet. I'll post them for anyone interested when I get them.

Last day to sign up online is today until midnight for Friday's track day and Sunday at midnight for Monday's track event. You can also just show up and pay at the track. Both Friday and Monday have all kinds of open slots, so it will practically be an open track if you go. Hope to see some of you there.

track days around here (Chicago) depend a lot on the track but generally around $150, some get up to maybe $300 or so though depending.

Yeah, it varies. Streets of Willow is a smal technical track and is much cheaper than Willow Springs big track. Buttonwillow is priced around $200 and of course, Laguna Seca is around $300 because of the prestige
