You would be correct, sir. But I would easily add the Kelford 176-T over the Pro1. As 2EM1 would argue, "The Pro1 is nice and all, but there are more advanced technological options out there that have been shown to have more range for turbochargers over the Pro1. The Pro 1 was good in its hay-day, but there are some new sheriffs in town."

Bye-Bye Pro 1... (And yes, I am well aware of what power the Pro1 is capable of, and I can automatically rebut that premise and say that I've seen the limits of the Pro1 as well)

Locash Racing makes and sells those for a little bit cheaper and they also make and sell the billet distributor block off cap as well.

With nicer radiator!! , using some nice brackets and not the zip ties.
Wrap that exhaust manifold and get a nice turbo blanket.

I like the pink compressor cover. 'Tis a shame that the CHRA isn't water cooled. .

You're not really gonna put a top mount exhaust manifold on there are you?

ugh.. the one had on there earlier was a better option. Having an open headlight with an exposed turbo with no filtration will cause more harm than good. It's not a CAI that's NA. But, *sigh* I'll have to accept another victim of the street/strip / Top mount fanaticism.

Just curious since I'm not very knowledgeable on turbo applications, but what are the pros/cons of a top mount versus what he has on the car now?

It's going to get dirty.. You're racing it!! You can do boost checks without a topmount, it's done all the time.

You lose a LOT OF RESPONSIVENESS if driving on the street unless this is strictly for drag racing only.... Otherwise, there is no other advantage than what you already have. Be prepared to retune because characteristics will change. Just a warning.
