Anyone experienced with Hondata willing to look over my maps?
I am wondering if anyone can help me out with a couple of things, just trying to check that my tune looks alright and doesn't have any glaring red flags hidden within. This is a car that I just purchased that is already built and tuned with Hondata S300 by a reputable tuner, or so the previous owner claims.
1.) Can someone give me step by step instructions for how to plug into my Hondata S300 with my laptop, and download the map files so I can send them to someone.
2.) Anyone experienced enough and willing to look them over for me on here, or can recommend someone who will? Please check out the setup in the link above.
Re: Anyone experienced with Hondata willing to look over my maps?
So I already figured out how to plug into Hondata, pull my tune and look thru the maps and tables. I tried attaching it to this post but it says invalid file type.
The situation is that the car was professionally tuned during the summer months on E85, and was only driven in the summer previously. I just purchased it and it does not run well in the winter. The tune should be good for 70-80 degree air temps, but I would like to have it at least driveable when it is down in the 20-30 range, and be able to start it.
I have read that with e85 you have to overcompensate with fuel during colder coolant temps for starting. However when driving the AF meter leans out under any load and the car stumbles, even if the coolant is up to temp so I am wondering if this compensation is needed for air temp as well?
Here is my setup:
B18 GSR block with B16 ported head
Wiseco Pistons
Eagle Rods
Blox IM with 90mm TB
1000cc FIC injectors
Walbro 340 pump
LS transmission
GT3255E turbo at 20psi
E85
6an fuel lines
Re: Anyone experienced with Hondata willing to look over my maps?
Since I am unable to attach the entire tune, here are the tables I am curious about.
- Do they look reasonable for an e85 setup?
- Could I try adjusting the compensation for fuel and or ignition, and which direction does it appear to be off?
