finally got cams from my friends house, and picked up my drag wheels. hydo assembly shipping to me today and a quick pic of car after I done the front pads and checked all fluids. now its in storage ready for tear down.
debating to sell my edelbrock intake mani and getting a skunk 2 ultra street one or the ultra race one with a 90mm tb and sell my edelbrock and 70mm tb
It'd stick with the Street series over the Race. Based upon what you've been trying to do , I think you'll get a different set of behaviours with that Race version than the street. Really, I've found that even the Pro Series does quite well, nothing to worry about integrating, and at the same time only 15hp difference. you can make that same amount with a bit of tuning since you're turbocharged.
But this should be based upon the purpose and power level you're trying to achieve.
Yep I just hit that bottleneck myself, huge cams, lots of power and a stock Edelbrock manifold. Now that I switched over to the Web Pro's I think I need a way better manifold and may bite the bullet and go with a Kinsler.
I don't have HUGE power like u haha so I guess if ur running what ur running now on a edelbrock then im fine with mines lol
For sure, that is why I've always told people who wanted to run more then is needed not to do it. I ran a stock Type R throttle body at 850whp, Type R cams at about 750whp etc. like Shodan said no need to go to big unless you reach that point.
I barely just got them I been on a gsr cam and a itr one lol tuners are going on now
All the more reason to put them up for sale and use your ITRs for now until you can get some real turbocharger camshafts (and no, Brian Crowers do not count)
