Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I am looking for suggestions on a OBD-II scanner that can also retrieve SRS codes in our Hondas that does not cost an arm and a leg. I am interested in feedback from those who have scanners with these features as far as opinions, etc.

 

One of my friend has recently purchased a scan tool, it is some whar similar to elm 327 and it is working on his eg civic with P08 ecu. The scanner displays live data from various sensors on an application running on android phone.

 

I will soon get one such scanner for myself. My car is equipped with SRS steering wheel airbag and ABS brakes. Once installed in my car i will share further details if it over here.

 

Just get a $15 elm adapter and use your laptop. It will be more flexible that way.

 

I use an elm327 Wifi and my iPhone, does everything I need it to do for basic needs
