so I apparently have a leak in the evap system. but I thought it would be worth mentioning that before the code came (CEL) my car started to drop in RPM's when coming to a stop, so basically a low idle. previously the car was strong off the line, now needs little gas to go. all help always thankful for, have Happy Easter all

 

Check the seal on the gas cap.

 

My gas cap is tight but I suppose they can go bad. But don't explain my low idle when coming to stops. Is it possible a bad evap canister vent solenoid is responsible for the low idle? N possibly the CEL too.... I dunno
