oh man sounds crazy. well make sure u have the correct injectors and alternator plugs and stuff. also, i believe OBD-0 ECU's do not look for a knock sensor. so maybe your ECU is obd1 or something idk. and u need the correct distributor for your OBD setup.

i had trouble deciding on what distributor to get, which could be the problem, because i know the thing ran before i got ahold of it, but the dizzy on it was broke, so really a jdm b16 obd0 is the only one that would fit yet it doesnt run right... i thought maybe even try an ls dizzy since its usdm and heard it would work?

like i said i know it ran beforehand, like able to go out on the road, i had found recent alignment slips. and the dizzy was supposedly the problem, so maybe trying a different one is worth it, but what to try...

make sure the injectors are obd0 and use a resistor box (left shock tower i think) and can you check the fuel pressure? does it have an adjustable regulator. oh ya what are you using for a map sensor? obd2b is on throttle body obd0 are on the fire wall.

okay, there is the resistor box so thats ok, map sensor is on the fire wall, didnt get fuel pressure...

pulled the distributor and the end thing, dont know what its called, the part that goes into the motor is loose, extremely loose. i compared it to old stock dizzy and it's much looser. moves side to side more than the stock one and also moves in and out a bit. also, i can see a washer type thing moving around loose between the acual dizzy and this part im talking about. leads me to believe it might be garbage, did come from ebay...

hmm didn't think you could put a d series dizzy on a b series. what's wrong with the orginal dizzy bad bearings ? or electronic's any junk yards around you ? some parts store's sell new or remained dizzy's or importers for an oem one. never asked before where are you located ?

ok so i got an old dizzy an started swapping parts onto the new one. the module didnt fit in the new one, but, i switched the coil, and when i did i threw a code 9 which is cyp censor, so thats pretty solid evidence that the ebay dizzy is junk! still trying to find a diff one, but ill let you know how it goes.

finally found a reasonably priced ls dizzy from a junkyard, modified it to fit the b16, and she now runs great!

Lesson: eBay is good for stickers, not distributors.

thanks to everyone who helped.
